The Bugatti Owners’ Club was founded in December 1929 for enthusiasts of the Bugatti car. Prescott Hill Climb, near Cheltenham, is the Club’s home and provides members and spectators with motor sport at its very best. The Prescott Estate, approximately sixty acres, is situated in glorious Cotswold countryside and is an ideal venue for corporate events with added interest of being one of Europe’s most exciting motorsport venues.

The Bugatti Owners Club purchased the estate in 1937 and commenced converting the muddy, rutted drive into a speed hill climb ready for the Opening Rally in April 1938, when the then President of the Club, Earl Howe, opened proceedings by driving his type 57 Bugatti up the Hill.

Prescott is tucked away amidst the still quite unspoiled Cotswold countryside some six miles north-east of Cheltenham. Here visitors can view the green hills around or watch competing cars from a number of advantageous points all in a spacious ‘confine’.

The Venue consists of 3 Courses in one track. These are "Short Course" , "Crossover Course" (raced throughout the 1990's) and the present 1127 yard "Long Course", Current race meeting use the Short Course (Vintage VSCC) and the "Long Course", this rises some 200 feet via short straights, fast and slow corners including a hairpin at ‘Pardon’ and the very tricky "Esses" and deceptive "Semi-circle" which is the sting in the tail before the final finish straight. Modern single seater raceing cars achieve this climb in a little over 36 seconds.

Viewing this spectacular venue from the main spactator area is excellent giving views around "Orchard" and into "Ettores", then following up to the "Pardon" Hairpin. The Cars then Blast through the trees and eventually out of sight into "Esses". For those wishing to view these areas there is a footpath that traces the way from the Carpark to "Pardon", "Esses" and up to "Semi-circle" giving excellent views of the the lower hill and surrounding countrside from this vantage point

Paddock viewing is an essential part of Hillclimbing. Here you can get into the thick of the action viewing the cars and meeting the drivers. Stand too close and you might be give a spanner, this is not the sterile world of circuits!!!!

Catering for all is done excellently with a varied fayre available for sandwiches, burgers, hot spuds and licensed bar or simply bring your own picnic

If you've never been before "Lets Go Racing" you will enjoy the experience
